5.2.3. Travel Analysis Section

The “Travel Analysis Section” can be used to define the breaker’s Open and Close stroke,

velocity, over-travel, and bounce-back limits.

NOTES

• Stroke Low is the minimum distance of contact travel.

• Stroke High is the maximum distance of contact travel.

• Velocity Low is the minimum contact opening velocity.

• Velocity High is the maximum contact opening velocity.

• Overtravel Low is the contact travel distance above the Open or Close position

and is usually zero.

• Overtravel High is the maximum contact distance travel above the Open or

Close position.

• Bounce Back Low is the minimum contact distance travel under the Open or

Close position and is usually set to zero.

• Bounce Back High is the maximum contact distance travel under the Open or

Close position.
